Overview

Gallaway Construction is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and support the financial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account. This role provides hands-on experience across live projects, supporting cost planning, subcontract procurement, valuations, and financial reporting while developing the skills required for a successful career in commercial management.

key responsibilites

Support the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Assist with cost planning, subcontract procurement, and valuations.
Support financial reporting and cost monitoring across projects.
Assist with subcontractor management and contract administration.
Contribute to value engineering and cost control activities.
Work closely with project teams to support effective commercial delivery.

requirements

Final year student or recent graduate in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Passion for high standards in safety, quality, and project delivery.
Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment.
Full UK Driving Licence and own transport
